About Alison

I am a certified high school math teacher. In the last few years, I have taught in person, virtually, blended learning, and one-on-one tutoring. When teaching and tutoring, I want to give students plenty of opportunities for practicing their new skills and understanding conceptually what the math is about. I work with each student individually to find the balance of these two that works best for that student. I approach all students with patience, kindness, encouragement and students can expect a welcoming atmosphere even when they’ve struggled in the past.
