Matthew Terry Rivi is a Nigerian economist and public finance practitioner based in Jos, Plateau State. He is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Jos, with strong research interests in development economics, environmental and energy economics, public finance, and mineral-led industrialisation, with a particular focus on green industrial policy and inclusive growth in Africa. He serves as Tax Intelligence and Analysis Staff at the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS), where he undertakes revenue performance analysis, forecasting, and compliance monitoring to support evidence-based fiscal decision-making.
